Injury report – Manchester City v QPR

Mark Hughes’ Queens Park Rangers travelled to The Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in a replay of what was the most dramatic match last season and which saw City crowned as league Champions.

Manchester City started the day without Mario Balotelli who is set to undergo laser eye surgery in order to relieve a problem he suffers caused by wearing his contact lenses which leads to conjunctivitis, while Gareth Barry (hernia) has yet to feature this season. Sergio Aguero is still recovering from his knee injury while Micah Richards was also out with an ankle injury.

Manchester’s City’s Pablo Zabaleta was replaced after 73 minutes when the player suffered a hamstring injury.

QPR began this match with no injury concerns however they lost Anton Ferdinand to a shoulder injury in the 66th minute.
