Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal are set to be without Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott, Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny for the weekend’s game against West Brom.
Speaking to the official Arsenal site, Wenger said
Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott (calf) are out. Bacary Sagna (foot) and Laurent Koscielny (thigh) are not back. From Tuesday night in Greece there are no new injuries so we have a selection from the combined squad of Tuesday and Saturday.
Podolski is suffering from a hamstring problem but it is hoped that it will only be a short-term issue. Andre Santos, who has been out with an abdominal injury is not far from a return.
There was no update on Abou Diaby who has been out since he was replaced against Chelsea when he suffered a thigh problem which was originally only expected to keep him out of action for three weeks.by
