Tottenham’s manager Andre Villas-Boas revealed after his side’s defeat away to Everton at Goodison Park that Gareth Bale could return from injury in time for their next match against Swansea at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Speaking after yesterday’s match Villa-Boas said
There is a strong possibility that Gareth Bale could be fit for our next game but I felt Clint Dempsey did well in his position on the left.
Bale has been out of action from the start of the month with a hamstring injury which was not expected to rule him out for more than two weeks and it seems as if this prediction could be correct.
Bale picked up the injury during Tottenham’s 3-0 win over London rivals Fulham and was replaced in the second half of that match after he fell awkwardly following a shot on goal.by
