Adriano returns for Barcelona after injury

Barcelona will not have to do without Adriano for tonight’s second leg against Cordoba as the defender , who was suffering from an ankle injury, has been included in the squad after recovering enough to take part.

Adriano trained alone on Tuesday as he dealt with the injury and according to the Barcelona site

The [training] session was run by Jordi Roura in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and featured the return of Adriano Correia after the Brazilian had worked in isolation on Tuesday. Isaac Cuenca was also able to join his colleagues, who included Sergi Roberto of Barça B.

Eric Abidal continued training individually with physio Juanjo Brau, while Carles Busquets one again helped coach the goalkeepers due to the muscle injury suffered by regular trainer José Ramón de la Fuente.

Barcelona have a two goal lead from the first leg of the round of 16 games.
