Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski has revealed that he has been forced to miss training due to illness and is now considered a doubt ahead of Arsenal’s crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Snow in London. Unfortunately I couldn’t train. I’m sick and hopefully fit again until Sunday.

Podolski did not take part in Arsenal’s FA Cup win over Swansea during the week. He was named on the bench but did not come on.

Arsenal will be without Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta, both of whom who are out with calf problems while goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has still not returned to training.

Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez revealed today that he has no injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s match and that John Terry could return to the starting lineup.

Terry injured his knee after falling awkwardly in Chelsea’s match against Liverpool in November. He made his first team return against Stoke in the Premier League on 12th January, two months and one day after being ruled out with injury.
