Ribery ruled out of Arsenal clash

Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery has been ruled out of his side’s second leg clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night after the winger picked up an ankle injury during the match against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday.

Ribery suffered an ankle ligament strain and will not be fit to play.

Bayern, who take a 3-1 lead in to the second leg, are also waiting on the fitness of Arjen Robben who missed out at the weekend due to a calf problem.

They will also be without defender Jerome Boateng and Bastian Schweinsteiger who are banned for the tie.
