Tottenham’s Moussa Dembele has made a miraculous recovery from the ankle injury which saw him carried from the training field while on international duty and was involved in their training session yesterday with reports that he could play for the Belgian team in their World Cup qualifier tonight.
The news will come as a relief for Tottenham fans who were surely fearing the worst when they saw the midfielder with him ankle heavily strapped and being helped from the pitch.
Some outlets were reporting yesterday that Dembele faced a period on the sidelines however it seems as if that could be wide of the mark. Even if the player does not recover enough to play tonight, the fact that he was able to take part in training yesterday will be seen as a good indicator that he will not miss out for long.
