Premier League Injury updates

Arsenal

Arsenal are expecting to welcome Mathieu Flamini back in to the squad for their trip to Old Trafford on Sunday. Theo Walcott is not expected back until after the international break. Jack Wilshere will face further tests today [Thursday] on his ankle. Lukas Podolski could make the squad for the weekend.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa defender Antonio Luna has been ruled out of his side’s Premier League game this weekend with a hamstring injury.

Crystal Palace

Adlene Guedioura is set for at least six weeks on the sidelines as he recovers from a punctured lung and two broken ribs.

Everton

Lukaku has returned to training and is expected to feature this weekend.

Fulham

Fulhams’ centre back Brede Hangeland will undergo a late fitness test before his inclusion in the squad to face Liverpool is confirmed. The defender is currently suffering from a nerve problem in his leg. Hugo Rodallega will be sidelined for the next six weeks with a groin injury.

Liverpool

Both Glen Johnson and Steven Gerrard have trained with Liverpool ahead of their game this weekend against Fulham. Fullback Jose Enrique will undergo a fitness test before it is decided if he can take part.

Manchester City

David Silva faces a late fitness test ahead of their game at the weekend. He is said to be ‘50/50.’

Norwich City

Norwich’s Robert Snodgrass is back in contention for his side’s game this weekend while Nathan Redmond will be assessed. Ricky van Wolfswinkel will not take any part so make sure you place your bet for first goalscorer with 888sport.com on someone else.

Sunderland

Emanuele Giaccherini is a major doubt for Sunderland game this weekend after suffering a back injury last night.

Swansea

Ben Davies is expected to return to the side tonight for their Europa League game after his injury turned out to be not as bad as feared. Michu, however, will be out for up to four weeks.

West Ham

West Ham’s James Collins has returned to training however it is unlikely that he will be involved this weekend. Reid will not take part as he struggled with an ankle injury.
