Arsenal extend lead at top of Injury League [image]

Arsenal have extended their lead at the top of this season’s Injury League by a further five points this week, helped by the injuries to Theo Walcott, Thomas Vermaelen and Mikel Arteta as well as long-standing injury problems.

They now hold a 36-point lead over second place Crystal Palace and have 100 points more than Chelsea and almost double the number of the Premier League’s second placed team, Manchester City, making the fact that they still sit on top of the Premier League even more remarkable.
