EVERTON – Traore injury update

Everton’s Lacina Traore was withdrawn from the Everton squad during the warm-up at Stamford Bridge.

The forward, who was set for his first start for Everton since his arrival in January, has suffered a hamstring strain it has been confirmed.

Steven Naismith replaced him in the starting line-up as Everton look to do to Chelsea at the Bridge what they managed at Goodison earlier in the season.

There has been no information regarding what grade the hamstring strain is as it is too early to know but we will post an update as soon as we get more information.

Traore joined Everton on loan on 24th January and has so far made one appearance for the club [in the FA Cup], scoring one goal in his debut against Swansea City, a game Everton won 3-1. He will remain on loan with Everton, from Monaco, for the remainder of the season.
