Mesut Ozil is set to return to Arsenal training soon, but won’t be fit in time for the FA Cup semi-final.
The German international has been out since he picked up a hamstring injury against Bayern Munich in March, but has made good strides recently in regaining his fitness.
Intensive physio sessions have enabled him to step up his gym work and he is likely to be back training with the rest of the team ‘soon.’ While he won’t be back in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan on April 12th, he is expected back shortly after.
The news will come as a massive boost to Arsenal who are expected to have Aaron Ramsey back in the side for the game at Wembley.
Jack Wilshere, however, is still not close to a return while there has been no update on Laurent Koscielnt. The French defender injured his calf against Chelsea and is expected to be out for another couple of weeks at least.by
