Everton striker says Manchester United man should not go to World Cup

Everton’s Kevin Mirallas has been speaking about Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj after the youngster finally declared his international allegiances by picking Belgium.

Mirallas, who will miss the rest of Everton’s season through injury, is still likely to travel to Brazil with his home nation, but despite Januzaj being in demand from a number of countries, he doesn’t believe that the United man should be called straight in to the Belgium squad.

Mirallas said

“I don’t think that Januzaj should play in 2014 World Cup. He’s too inexperienced.”

The 19 year old has yet to feature at senior international level after delaying his decision to name which country he would prefer to play for but has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Premier League with United under David Moyes.

Januzaj has played in 24 Premier League matches, although he has only played the full 90 minutes on six occasions, coming on as a sub 11 times and being taken off seven.
