Gary Medel looks set to end his time at Cardiff City with reports claiming that he will join Besiktas this summer.
The Chilean, who arrived at Cardiff only last summer, will not stay with the club due to their relegation from the Premier League and it is thought that a deal has been agreed with the Turkish side which will see the Bluebird’s club-record signing leave.
Medel has made 35 appearances for Cardiff this season and the 29 year-old, who was signed from Sevilla, is also said to be a target for Galatasaray however the report from Spain claims that a deal in principle has been agreed between Cardiff City and Besiktas.
The player is also said to have agreed to the terms offered to him by the club which can offer him European football next season.
Despite finishing in the bottom three of the Premier League this season, Cardiff were the least injury-hit team in the league and look set to finish at the bottom of this season’s injury league as well.by
