According to recent reports, Southampton’s Dani Osvaldo, who has spent the second half of this season on loan with Juventus, is set to return to his parent club.
The player, who has spoken recently of his desire to remain with the Italian champions, will not be signed permanently by Juve if reports are to be believed.
Osvaldo would seem to have no future with the Saints given his comments and the problems he had during his short time with the club and it is thought that Zenit St Petersburg could give the player a way out as they look to reinvest the money they are likely to get with the sale of Hulk.
It is not clear if the Zenit interest is real or merely speculation from the press at this stage.
Juventus have an option to purchase Osvaldo for €19m as long as they take up the option before the end of May. This appears to be increasingly unlikely however despite the fact that Osvaldo took a pay cut to join the Italians.by
