It is being reported today that Athletic Bilbao’s Ander Herrera arrived at Manchester United’s training ground today.
The player, who was met by a Manchester United delegation headed by Sir Bobby Charlton, was shown around Carrington after arriving at the ground.
It is expected that the player will undergo a medical while at the training ground in order to allow United to complete his €35m move before his release clause rises to 440m on July 1st.
The player is said to have arrived in London on Tuesday where he stayed overnight before heading north alongside his agent and friends. While in London much of the paperwork needed for his transfer was said to have been completed in Mayfair where Manchester United have an office.
The 24 year-old has been heavily linked with a move to United for some time now and was close to signing for the club last summer under David Moyes. He would be Louis van Gaal’s first signing and is said to be ready to complete a deal which would see him earn €180,000 per week.by
