Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata has just completed his medical ahead of a €20m move to Serie A side Juventus.
The young forward has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal for the past year, with the London club trying to secure his services on loan during the January transfer window and it had been speculated that they would go back for him this summer.
The player has signed for Juventus on a permanent deal but Real Madrid will maintain a buy-back option for the next two seasons and there is no indication that Arsenal reignited their interest in the player during this window.
He has signed a five-year deal.
Upon arriving in Italy on Friday, Morata told Sky Italia
I am very happy to be here. I will have my medical tomorrow and I can’t wait to start my new adventure.
