After that horrific injury, in which Kurt Zouma’s knee bent back the wrong way and left him sidelined for the rest of the season, the Chelsea man has been working hard to heal and return.
The defender has been out since February when he damaged his knee ligaments against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old was ruled out for six months but the hard work doesn’t start there. The centre-back has already started work in the gym to help strengthen and heal the injury.
On Monday, Zouma shared a picture on his Instagram of what appears to be him steadily trying to rebuild strength in his knee. In the caption, the defender, who was a key player for Chelsea before getting injured, said “step by step” and hashtagged “work hard”.
Hopefully, the hard work pays off and Zouma is able to recovery fully from such a terrible injury.by
