PSG swoop for Manchester United target Mourinho after Manchester City loss

Sky sources are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have approached Jose Mourinho.

The former Chelsea boss has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months with reports popping up daily that he’s signed a contract.

Now, PSG appear to have thrown a spanner in the works by approaching the Portuguese manager themselves.

According to Sky Sports, the Ligue 1 team’s chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, asked Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, himself after they were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City. Apparently, Mourinho is going to wait until the end of the season to see how his negotiations with the Red Devils pan out.

Although Jose does have history with the PSG chairman, he is a self-proclaimed lover of the Premier League. He’s had a lot of success in England and United is one of the biggest clubs in the world. At the end of the day – or season – it might come down to wages but considering how rich both clubs are, it’s difficult to predict where he will end up.
