Injury luck holds as Tottenham get ready for West Brom game

Tottenham Hotspur will face West Brom on Monday night with only one player missing from their squad due to injury – Nabil Bentaleb.

Spurs know that they will need all three points against West Brom if they are to keep up the pressure on Leicester who will have played more than 24 hours before.

With Premier League survival already assured, West Brom showed against Arsenal that the majority of their squad are already on holiday and the game should be a straightforward win for Mauricio Pochettino’s men at White Hart Lane.

They won’t however, want to approach the game in that fashion lest they end up going all Spursy.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Pochettino said:

Having a fully-fit squad available will be a massive boost for the run-in to a side that has struggled over the seasons with a lot of injury problems.

Tottenham will be either five, six or eight points behind the Foxes by the time they kick-off with just three games remaining by the final whistle.

Bentaleb has made a total of five Premier League appearances this season.

Not a first team player in my opinion, Bentaleb is one of those players who split the supporters opinions, some of the spurs faithful love him but other like me can not see what he bring’s to the party apart from decent cover, so all good COYS.

I saw a comment today that Poch has sanctioned the Betaleb sale – if someone pays £10m

i would take it, but i think we could hold out for a bit more, don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with a fully fit Bentaleb, but at the same time he just doesn’t hit the right buttons with me.
