Tottenham wary as Bayern Munich express interest in key man - report

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier when the transfer window opens in the summer.

Dier is one of a number of Tottenham players to have impressed this season and his form has been integral to their sustained Premier League challenge.

The London Evening Standard are claiming that, after impressing in their games against Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich have turned their attentions to the midfielder as a potential replacement for Xabi Alonso who is out of contract at the Allianz next season.

Dier is said to be happy at Tottenham and with the club sure to be playing Champions League football next season, possibly even as actual Champions, there is not much that could come along to turn Dier’s head from what is clearly a club on the up.

Bayern Munich, however, could well be one of those things.

They are a hard club to say no to if they come calling.
