Klopp can see Origi and Henderson are desperate to play in Europa League final

Liverpool made the Europa League final with an impressive 3-0 win against Villarreal on Thursday evening.

The result was a fantastic one for Jürgen Klopp’s side and the Liverpool boss now believes the prize of appearing in a final could give his injured stars the extra motivation they need to regain fitness before the season ends.

Henderson and Origi will still be desperate to return in time to feature for England and Belgium respectively at Euro 2016 and the latest update is a huge one for their club as well as their countries.

Origi was in superb form before suffering an ankle injury at the hands of Everton’s Ramiro Funes Mori and has already admitted he is optimistic about his return. Origi was crucial in the quarter-final defeat of Borussia Dortmund and will be desperate to feature in Basel.

The same applies to Henderson, who is coming to the end of his first season as Liverpool captain. The midfielder would love to lead them out in the final.

Liverpool already had Emre Can back in the side on Friday and more boosts ahead of a European final would be incredibly welcome, especially after a horrible season as far as injuries are concerned.
