For the game against Slavia Prague, Arsenal will welcome back three players who missed the defeat against Liverpool at the weekend but could be without three others.

Kieran Tierney will now miss the next four-to-six weeks of the season with the knee injury he picked up against Liverpool, meaning his season is effectively over and his already impressive tally of games missed through injury is set to grow further.

The Premier League finishes on 23 May with the Europa League final on 26 May.

David Luiz is also out after the club confirmed he underwent surgery on his knee issue. The club say he will be back in the ‘upcoming weeks’ but that means nothing and is a phrase they’ve used all season to cover one week to three months.

Martin Odegaard is a doubt with discomfort in his ankle according to the report Arsenal put out before the game.

The good news, however, is that Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are both back in full training and fit for selection.

Granit Xhaka has also recovered from illness, although it will not be clear if that is good or bad news until the end of the first leg on Thursday night.
